SHOULD SOMEONE CARE? Every month I come across dealer’s Google Analytics accounts that do not have conversion goals properly configured. According to Google’s best practices guide, Google Ads and GA should be connected and goals imported to improve advertising outcomes.  This is basic SEM 101.

I estimate that 8 out of 10 dealers use agencies that fail this Google guide and yet they are still Google Certified. Who is watching out for the dealer?  What does certified really mean? I want to thank Google for publishing this guide since dealers now have something to send Google agency partners that will not connect Google Ads with Analytics.
