Christopher Lima, current VP of Marketing and Sales of Motor Werks Auto Group, has 17 years of retail automotive experience in various sales, marketing and executive roles. His career was built upon the idea of transforming automotive retail through improved processes and technology. Academically, Christopher has attended Northeastern Illinois University (2003) as well as the National Automobile Dealers Association Academy (2016).
Christopher first found his passion for the automotive business at a young age. After opening his first mobile detail shop while in high school, he applied for his wholesale dealers license while attending college and found his love for proving exceptional customer experiences for his customers. Driven to apply his influence on a grander scale, he joined a local Chicago dealer group to begin his professional career.
Recognizing a need in the industry to improve the sales process and customer experience, he lead the charge to transform the Motor Werks Auto Group to a single point of contact concept along with upfront pricing in the hyper competitive Chicago market. Leveraging technology, process improvement and great people that transformation helped to drive the business to a new level while providing a transparent and seamless experience for their customers. Soon thereafter, Christopher was tasked with overseeing the Chicago based groups’ marketing strategies and overall sales processes.
An unwavering belief in putting the customer first, developing his people and continuously being a student of the business is at the heart of Christopher’s leadership belief system. When not driving the charge at the stores, Christopher enjoys spending time with wife Jessica and his two sons being active outdoors.
