TRAVIS INGRAM

Co-Founder

Travis Ingram is a Senior Vice President with technology services company Brothers Media Group and a co-founder of DealerIT.

Travis has always had a love for automotive in his blood, even before his first job as a porter at a local dealership. He has been equally passionate about technology. He was able to combine the two in his first IT job with a Chevrolet dealer in Jacksonville, Florida.

After serving as IT Director of the dealer group for three years, Travis undertook a new challenge as an Assistant Vice President of Global Wealth Technology at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. In his 8-year tenure he was responsible for global compliance and vulnerabilities across 800,000 devices.

During the 2009 financial crisis Travis’ passion for automotive was reignited and he, alongside his wife Lisa Ingram, ventured out and created a new company, DealerIT.

Officially launched in 2011, Travis brought his knowledge and tenure at Fortune 500 companies and meshed it with his and Lisa’s in-depth understanding of the way retail automotive works. Together they created a unique solution that filled a managed services void in the automotive industry and quickly expanded the company across Northern Florida.

In 2018 DealerIT was acquired by Brothers Media Group. In the acquisition Mr. Ingram was moved into an executive role with the parent company to provide council and management on future growth initiatives for both DealerIT and partner company Automotive Broadcasting Network (ABN).

During his 15 years in the automotive industry Travis has helped dealers navigate the growing technology environment by providing consultation on strategic business initiatives, construction management and vendor relationships. His thought leadership has been guiding automotive groups on acquisitions and strategic growth for years. His focus is on changing the culture of technology for automotive dealers and raising the bar on standards.

He has served numerous roles throughout his career with the following organizations:

– Garber Automotive (1998)

– Comnet Communications (2000 -2002)

– Nimnicht Automotive (2002 – 2005)

– Merrill Lynch (2005 – 2008)

– Bank of America (2008 – 2013)

– DealerIT (2011 – 2018)

– Brothers Media Group (2018 – present)

A resident of Jacksonville, Florida, Mr. Ingram is a married father of two children and a small zoo of animals. He has an appreciation of his community and has served as chairman of his local HOA and Community Development Districts in St. Johns County, Florida.
