David is an innovative business leader with 20+ years of experience in automotive retail, technology,
and marketing. He most recently served as President and Founder of AutoHook, an automotive
technology company acquired by Urban Science in 2015. Since 2011, David has driven YoY
revenue increase for AutoHook, most recently leading his team in generating a 100% 2-year
increase post-acquisition with no significant increase in budget or resources. He has successfully
founded and grown businesses in highly competitive markets, including Fortune 1000 companies,
and has a proven track record of refocusing both startups and top-tier organizations toward attaining
strategic growth revenue goals.
Prior to starting AutoHook, David served more than 6 years as CMO of MileOne Automotive Group
where he built an industry-leading marketing organization, leveraging technology and the internet to
increase market share, while dramatically decreasing advertising spend per vehicle sold. He previously
headed sales for Autobase, where he helped grow the company from a small startup to a leading
automotive CRM software vendor.
David began his career on the showroom floor and rose to become one of the top Chrysler salesmen in
the country and then General Manager of a dealership. He is regarded as one of the foremost experts in
the automotive marketing and e-commerce space and is a frequent speaker at the industry’s most
influential events. David also serves as an operating partner to private equity firms and is an Advisory
Board member to various technology companies throughout the industry.
