2019 marks Alex’s 30th year in the car business. In that time, he has had a front-row seat for the rise of the Internet. His dream has been to merge the online and offline dealership experience since he emailed his first lead at the Checkered Flag auto group. Over the last decade, Alex led the development of the Dealer.com CRM and conceptualized future product as the Head of Product Vision and Innovation at Dealertrack and Cox Automotive.
Today, he and Jeff Kershner continue to push the boundaries of automotive retail innovation on DealerRefresh; while, he also serves as the CEO of FRIKINtech, INC. FRIKINtech is short for FRIKTIONLESS technologies, and the mission is to remove the friction between vehicle owners and their car dealers. It is a 30-year vision finally coming to life! .
